Dear John,

In 2021, Kidquake made good on our promise to you. We brought free, impactful educational programming to 3600 public school students around the Bay Area, including an additional 600 students in 30 more classrooms.

We’ve also doubled down on our commitment to diverse representation, bringing a wide variety of authors and educators to our BIPOC-majority students. Teachers and students know: Kidquake fosters formative experiences with stories and storytelling, as well as issues of identity, cultural diversity, and inclusion.

Yours,
Jack & Jane, Litquake co-founders
PS. Like many of our programs, Kidquake has changed to reflect our new reality. We’ve been fortunate to have wonderful program directors, Jilanne Hoffmann and Deborah Krant, who helped find the silver lining. Now we need your help in our efforts to continue our expansion into schools all over the Bay Area.
