Barbara Hodes revisits Vienna after a decade, a city and place that is both large and beautiful as well as both ancient and modern.
JH and I took a walk talking shop up Madison Avenue where we came upon one about to open for business, for brides and women dressing for an occasion! Amazing. Some shop, some brides, some eveningwear!
Finally got to lunch at Avra, with Marc Rosen regaling me with stories of his late beloved wife Arlene Dahl and one particular story about a Steinway.
