In the mid-1980s, Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash commissioned one of Nashville's most successful homebuilders to construct a residence for their son. Completed in 1987 and located about a 30-minute drive outside downtown Nashville, the house is now on the market, asking $6.25 million. That asking price also includes an 18th-century cabin on the 21-acre property, which the Cashes reportedly converted into a guesthouse. Elsewhere, over in Malibu, Utah's richest man has plunked down $12 million on an oceanfront spread with nearly 200 feet of beach frontage.
