MAPI Foundation lowers forecast for US economy, manufacturing growth
The US economy faces "more downside than upside," according to the MAPI Foundation's most recent quarterly outlook. Forces pulling on the US economy include the strong dollar, weaker exports, lower commodity prices and reduced spending in the energy sector. The foundation has lowered its GDP growth forecast for 2016 and 2017, and reduced its manufacturing growth forecast significantly. Modern Distribution Management (3/28)
