A work world without meetings. Sounds like a dream, doesn’t it?

Well, it’s a dream come true for media company TheSoul Publishing. The organization has successfully implemented a no-meetings policy for its 2,100 employees spread across the globe. I was skeptical when I first saw the headline, but as I dug into the story -- which we featured in yesterday’s issue -- I was fascinated.

It works. It called for a dramatic shift in culture and protocol, but it works. And HR is a key element. Not everyone is cut out for this model, and the company knows it. Success begins at the point of recruitment, with candidates who are agile and capable of breaking from tradition.

If you missed the story, give it a look now. It’s a short but practical read. And let me know what you think. Could this work at your company?
