The types of pizza crusts you can find in Lafayette

BY ADAM DAIGLE | Staff writer

Good morning, Acadiana Business newsletter readers. It's time for headlines. Let's get down to business.

Pizza is one of America’s favorite foods for a reason. The dish, no matter its style or origin, has something for everybody — an endless variety of vegetables, proteins, cheese, sauce and crust that can be mixed and matched to suit all tastes. What’s not to love?

Three years ago, Knott also introduced the Detroit style of pizza to Acadiana, which is a deep dish (not as deep as Chicago). Cooked in a steel pan, it’s like a saucier, more decadent focaccia bread, with cheese that reaches the edges of the crust and caramelizes around the outside of the pan.

Neapolitan, Detroit, tavern-style and more are available to try across the region.

You can read the story here.

Have a great day and thanks for reading.
