Although all hospitals have a peer review system in place, many struggle to implement systems that are not only meaningful but eliminating bias wherever possible.

Bias in a peer review system can have disastrous effects, leading a facility down the path toward negligent credentialing or, in the worst-case scenarios, loss of hospital accreditation.
