Target to bump up hourly pay for peak holiday work

Target will offer store and service center staffers an additional $2 per hour for working at peak times during the holiday season, including weekends, Christmas Eve and Dec. 26. The period to earn the extra pay starts Nov. 20, and hourly supply chain employees who work to stock stores and ship orders will also qualify for the additional $2 at certain times from Oct. 10 to Dec. 18.
