An urgent desire for more policing

Stun guns being decriminalized
From 2009 to 2015, Michigan, Wisconsin, and three significant cities and counties repealed their bans; this year, the Virgin Islands followed suit, the Baltimore County Attorney concluded that the county ban was unconstitutional, and Georgia decriminalized stun gun possession by university students on campus.
