Emory University Open Expression committee issues broadly speech-protective opinion
"Assuming for the sake of argument that some content on the Wall violated the values of civility, respect, diversity, inclusion, or community ... none of this would trump Community members’ 'fundamental right to open expression' ...."
@LitCritTrump: Books reviewed by Donald Trump (or not)
A sample: "Sad little man Gatsby can’t get anyone to like him. Maybe he’s not as rich as he thinks. NOT GREAT AT ALL"
GOP Senators may be justified in blocking the Garland nomination until the election – but not if it opens the door for Trump
Although Judge Garland is a highly qualified nominee, Republicans have every right to refuse to hold hearings until after the election. But they should let the Garland nomination go through if Donald Trump wins the GOP nomination for president.

The decision also notes that the student told the classmate that “it's not good to not eat meat” and that “he should eat meat because he'd be smarter and have bigger brains.” That's "harassment, intimidation or bullying," New Jersey authorities concluded.

And I say that even though I support Israel.

Initial thoughts on President Obama’s decision to nominate Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court
Judge Merrick Garland is more moderate, and significantly older, than President Obama's prior nominees.
