Wood bought a used car that had a special option no one knew about: A GPS device, secretly installed by the police who were tracking the car in an investigation of its prior owner. The police then inadvertently started watching Wood, and they caught him selling drugs from the car. A federal court in Colorado recently suppressed all the evidence against Wood, although I'm skeptical that the ruling was correct.
