500,000 Israeli Jews, a quarter of whom are under the age of 14, live in Judea and Samaria, Israel’s Biblical Heartland. These Jewish communities, in a region sometimes referred to as the West Bank, are surrounded by 2 million Palestinians, the majority of whom support Hamas, or at a minimum, violence against Israel.
Operation Ittai’s mission is to airlift emergency supplies and equipment to the small Jewish communities and farms located in Judea and Samaria, especially during this time of great crisis. By now you’ve seen the horrific images and heard the stories from Israel. 1,400 murdered, 4,100 injured, and more than 200 civilians taken hostage by Hamas, a barbaric terrorist organization surpassing ISIS in their brutality.
When Hamas invaded Israel from the Gaza Strip on October 7th, 2023, they deliberately targeted the elderly, women and children with a premeditated plan to murder, rape, torture, and kidnap.
Israel has vowed to eradicate Hamas, amassing their forces on Israel’s southern borders. They are also preparing for an attack by Hezbollah, an Iranian-controlled terrorist group in Lebanon whose firepower and capabilities far surpass those of Hamas.
While Israel is facing these massive threats on their northern and southern borders, there is another threat that they are facing from within.
With the majority of the men serving on the war fronts, the security forces defending the communities and farms in Judea and Samaria are spread thin and inadequately equipped to defend their homes and villages.

Who is Ittai?
In the Bible, 2nd Samuel 15 records that Ittai came to Jerusalem to join David’s army the day before war broke out with Absalom. When faced with a choice of leaving Israel for his own safety, Ittai told David:
“As the Lord lives, and as my lord the king lives, wherever my lord the king shall be, whether for death or for life, there also will your servant be.”
Ironically, Ittai was from the same town as Goliath, a Philistine giant who did his best to eradicate the Jewish people.
Today, Christians who support Israel are faced with a choice. Fight against Israel, just like Goliath did. Or stand with David’s army and the people of Israel, just like Ittai did. Sitting on the fence should not be an option for those who believe in the Bible.
