As we officially kick-off summer this weekend, it’s a good time to remember summer (of love) 50 years ago in San Francisco. Some view it as the pinnacle of hippie-style accomplishment. Others regard it as the greatest marketing triumph in history that turned eight weeks of free love and drugs into an important cultural movement.
