THIS WEEK'S EDITION: October 25, 2019

Shabbat shalom from the Forward,
This Sunday marks one year since the shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, in which 11 people were killed.  This week we pause to remember the victims, but we also look forward and discuss how we can combat growing anti-Semitism.  Switching gears, we also look into the possibility of Israel heading back to the polls for a third time.  We chatted with former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert who believes that this is a big possibility.  And finally, this week I was invited to attend the cookbook launch party for Chef Einat Admony's "Shuk."  I share with you my thoughts and talk about how this is part of a larger Israeli food movement taking place in New York.

A gutn shabes,
