NCAA Division III Winter Championships, Including Swimming & Diving, Canceled

The NCAA Division III winter championships have been canceled for the 2020-21 school year.

The Division III Administrative Committee, acting on behalf of the Division III Management and Presidents Council, approved the recommendation from the Division III Championships Committee to cancel all winter championships, citing low participation nationwide.

3 Qualities That Set Lifelong Swimmers Apart From The Rest

Swimming is unlike most sports because there are both individual and team aspects that athletes are forced to encounter. As swimmers get older and more serious, it becomes more about dropping time and making the next fastest meet. Then there are lifelong swimmers. These are the people that have gone through and enjoyed these different phases, and solely love the sport because of their experiences they have had with it.

The NCAA announced that Division I Championships will take place, and released a contingency plan for the winter and spring championships, including swimming and diving and water polo.
