NBC to Premiere Michael Phelps Documentary to Mark 100 Days to Tokyo Olympics

NBC will premiere a new Michael Phelps documentary, “Michael Phelps: Medals, Memories & More,” on April 14 to mark 100 days until the start of the Tokyo Olympics.

The three-part documentary will stream exclusively for free on Peacock, NBC Universal’s streaming platform. The series will include reflections from Phelps and NBC commentators Rowdy Gaines and Dan Hicks, discussing each of Phelps’ Olympic races.

The Sweeney family car would pull up to the pool for the afternoon, and the carousel would start spinning.

The English Channel is the standard test for traditional marathon swimmers. As of the end of 2020, 2,157 individuals had completed the swim, compared to 5,788 who had summited Mount Everest. The 2021 NCAA Division I Men’s Championships last month were the first national level championship meet in more than a year and swimming fans throughout the United States rejoiced. The Texas Longhorns won their 15th team title in Greensboro, just days before head coach Eddie Reese announced his retirement as the most decorated NCAA swim coach in history. The Cal Golden Bears finished in second for their 11th straight top two finish.
