While it has floated around for years, the term took flight after New York magazine published a list in a feature article of their December issue and included the likes of Dakota Johnson, Maya Hawke, Maude Apatow and more on the cover. 
 

Basically, nepo babies prove that sheer talent is not enough to fuel a successful career, whether it is a famous person or not.
 

One person in particular who has spoken out about this is Kim Kardashian.
