The winners of Britain and Ireland’s best holiday lets 2022
Earlier this year, we launched our exciting competition to find the UK and Ireland’s best holiday let.
After a nationwide search and after much deliberation from our judging panel, which included Sykes’ CEO Graham Donoghue along with The Times’ Deputy Property Editor Carol Lewis, we can reveal the winners.
Along with our best overall property we have best interior design, best quirky property, best glamping, best view and best renovation project.

Our top prize of £10,000 was awarded to Nant y Gernedd. Having entered our ‘Best Glamping’ category, this hobbit-style home, located on a family farm in Snowdonia, is owned by brothers Dylan and Gwion Jones.
They spent two years creating this couple of eco-friendly pods, each sleeping up to four guests. They come with wood-fired hot tubs, walk-in showers and private gardens.
With their quirky look and luxury feel, they’re attracting holidaymakers from far and wide. Congratulations and well done to them.
