The Year's Happiest Stories | Yesterday, I was grateful (and a little surprised, honestly) to see a positive story about the church on CNN.com. The story was about Buffalo pastors who rescued more than 100 people during the recent historic blizzard. So often the stories that get picked up by the press are negative, salacious. I understand that. Those are the stories that get clicks and engagement. But it’s refreshing to see some coverage for just one of the many amazing and sacrificial things the church is doing in our world. That’s why I’m excited to share the roundup of CT’s “Stories that Made Us Happy.” From a story about how black Christian homeschoolers are redefining the movement to coverage of an evangelistic ministry in laundromats, I think these stories will leave a smile on your face, too. |
