Sexism in media agencies still exists in abundance, just not as overtly as it once did. While there is much greater awareness of gender equality in the workplace than before, there's a different story going on internally. One female exec shares her story. Read more below.

  • In our latest Confessions, a female exec revealed how daily sexism influenced both organizational culture and individual careers in the media agency she worked at to the point that they left.
  • Retail media has been buzzed about this past year but marketers aren't yet confident in its success. In a survey of 67 brand marketers by Digiday this past summer, brand marketers were asked how their ad spending on platforms and channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, other social platforms, Amazon, other retail sites and television changed in the past year.
  • The Economist is seeing subscriber numbers grow on the platform as well as referrals back to the publisher's site since launching two series on YouTube.
