The 10 areas in Scotland with the highest Covid rates

The areas with the highest coronavirus rates in Scotland at the end of January have been revealed.

Released by the Scottish Government, the data breaks down the positive number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, according to neighbourhood.

National clap for Sir Tom

There will be a national clap this evening to honour the life of Sir Tom Moore, who died with coronavirus this week. 

The 100-year-old captured hearts and raised almost £33 million for the NHS by walking laps of his garden during the first lockdown.
