Dear reader

The prospect of summer holidays abroad is starting to look more likely, with more details emerging about which countries likely to be first on the government’s so-called green list.

The list, which will be published later this week, is likely to include popular holiday destinations like Portugal and the Canary Islands, where coronavirus infections are particularly low.

The demise of Debenhams is a real blow for the Northern Ireland economy and for the firm’s employees in Northern Ireland.

It was revealed today when the company’s stores in Belfast, Ballymena, Newry and Craigavon will close

There were no further coronavirus related deaths in Northern Ireland over the last 24 hours, with a further 99 people testing positive.
