These make the best sandwiches I've ever had!
I've discovered a whole new world--the best sandwiches ever!

We've been making hamburger buns in our test kitchen--and this time we're making fancy buns packed with flavor. (The sandwich above is made with Diego's Jalapeno Cheddar bread.) I'm going crazy over these:

They're terrific as hamburger buns. But they also make incredible sandwiches!
If you can make dinner rolls, you can make burger buns! They're just squished dinner rolls!

A one-loaf mix makes 12 rolls. If you want extra large buns, make nine.

We had left over buns several weeks ago. Merri put them in individual sandwich bags and then in a larger bag.
When I wanted a sandwich, I sliced a bun with a serrated knife and dropped the halves in the toaster. Yep, they made amazing sandwiches!

Once upon a time--when we had nothing else to do in the test kitchen--we made our own potato chips. You can make them in the oven; fried are better.
Save on skillet cobblers, brownies, and more!
