| This month has been a busy one for the MailPoet Team. We’ve added two new team members - Rodrigo, DevOps Engineer, hailing from Spain and now living in the Canary Islands, and Michelle, QA Engineer, who is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Welcome!
We also have some good news for WooCommerce users - MailPoet now includes segmentation. That means paying you can send emails to your customers who have purchased a specific product or a product in a specific category. Pretty soon, you’ll also be able to set up automatic emails for these segments. These are Premium features. Stay tuned!

In this post, we’re going to talk about pop-up boxes (also known as modals) and specifically, using a WordPress plugin called Holler Box to set them up on your website. Why Holler Box? In brief: because it’s super simple and only takes about 30 seconds to install and configure. |

So, when looking for a MailPoet user to interview for a case study, we naturally thought of Jeff Brown, a long-time user of both MailPoet 2 and MailPoet 3. Jeff is the Online Director of The Station Inn, a music venue in Nashville, Tennessee and one of the largest and most-recognized live bluegrass music venues in the world.
In this case study, we talk to Jeff about why he uses MailPoet in particular, what some of his statistics are, and how we can potentially help him maximize his MailPoet usage. |

| | | | From the Archives Lessons in Writing Memorable Content from the Master of Wit, Oscar Wilde
Oscar Wilde was unquestionably one of the most unique personalities of the nineteenth century. The author of dozens of plays, essays, novels, and other works, his combination of wit and individuality has made him world-famous for his clever phrases and funny insights.
Wilde is a particularly useful case study for modern bloggers, as his work tended to be short and memorable, two very important things in the current media landscape. If he were alive today, we can easily imagine him using social media and email newsletters to build his own audience.
In this post, we’ll go through four quotes from Wilde and see how to apply their lessons to your email newsletters. Let’s get started! |

This Guardian article traces the history of the dictionary to its current “endangered” status. This puzzle loving couple is living the dream. Read about Jerry and Marge on Highline in this fascinating piece about a math whizz who gamed the lottery for $27 million.
