Try urban mountaineering at The O2 this Easter
Since opening in 2012, Up at The O2 has seen over 300,000 people walk across the roof of London's largest music venue. Paying homage to Greenwich Mean Time, the summit of the walkway is 52m high (for the weeks in the year) and there are 12 masts supporting the roof (months in the year). Cool, huh?
Try this unique climbing experience while enjoying spectacular views of Canary Wharf and south east London from up high. You can climb during the day, at sunset or twilight.
And this Easter Saturday, climbers will enjoy special Shakespeare performances on the viewing platform to celebrate 400 years of the Bard. Children will receive a free activity booklet to be completed at the summit. Nice little Easter egg, that.
Book now: Tickets for climbing sessions cost £28-£35 and you can choose from Original Climb, Sunset Climb and Twilight Climb. Sessions take place from 10am-8.30pm. The O2 is at Peninsula Square, SE10 0DX.
