Mark your calendar!!! This coming week Avatar Los Angeles brings you 3 great events! 

 

Wednesday, February 22nd at 8:30pm, Avatar teams up with the LAPD to talk about safety in modern times with a program we call "Knowledge Is Power".  We will engage with the LAPD LGBT Outreach Team and talk about subjects including hate crimes and incidents and what to do in an active shooter incident.  This interactive program is something we all need to think about and be informed about to keep eachother safe.  Get more details at the Avatar website.

 

Saturday, February 25th from Noon to 5pm, Avatar ABC will be teaching absoloutly shocking education programs dealing with electro play with basic and advanced courses on the subject in our usual hands-on way!  You can get tickets on the Avatar website.

 

Sunday, February 26th from 12pm to 3pm, Join Avatar and its members for our 34th anniversary at the 1 Archives Foundation.  Lite food and beverages will be available as you peruse some of our amazing 34 years of history and mingle with the Avatars and share in our rich and vibrant collections of art and memorabilia.  Details can be found on the Avatar website.
