| Parent and Tot Drop In Interact with other parents and childcare providers, while your child plays with other children. A great way to form lasting friendships. Our awesome classroom has a play kitchen, climbing toys, puzzles and games. Simple craft items will be available for you to enjoy with your child. Participants may come and go. Activities are suited for children 1-3.5 years of age, however, other age children may come along. Parents/ childcare provider must be present with child(ren).

Elgin Symphony Orchestra Presents “Gershwin Rhapsodies” Sunday, January 29th, 1:00 PM Departure | $88M/98NM The ESO was named “Orchestra of the Year” an unprecedented four times by the Illinois Council of Orchestras. The ESO brings in guest pianist Yana Reznik, and conductor Andrew Grams. The program will feature a Cuban Overture, written after Gershwin’s visit to Havana in 1932; Lullaby for Strings, highlighting the spectacular strings of the ESO; and 2nd Rhapsody, which may be the most experimental of his works. The concert will also hold Rhapsody in Blue, described by Gershwin as a “musical kaleidoscope of America, of our vast melting pot.” The program concludes with his iconic tone poem American in Paris, which depicts busy Parisian streets traversed by an American tourist in the 1920's.

This new high energy class has participants working “Circuit Style” in groups of 4, with TRX and Water Rowers and other fitness “toys” including battle ropes, heavy bags, sandbells and more. Indoor Golf Lessons Golf season has ended, but you can still improve your skills this winter! Deerfield Golf Club & Learning Center staff offers youth and adult lessons indoors at Sachs Recreation Center. Introduce your child to the basic fundamentals of golf in a game oriented atmosphere in our Tiny Tykes and Start Smart Golf classes. Adults just starting to play can take our Beginners Class.
