| Ice Skating Rinks & Status Deerfield Park District maintains neighborhood rinks with timed lighting for your skating enjoyment. Neighborhood rinks are located at Briarwood, Jaycee, Jewett and Patti Stryker (Pine St.) parks, as well as a hockey rink at Jewett Park. Lights at the neighborhood rinks operate between 5:00 - 9:30 p.m. every night. Rinks close due to weather conditions and ice damage and repair through the winter. | Youth and Adult Golf Lessons Take lessons indoors at Sachs Recreation Center. Introduce your child to the basic fundamentals of golf in a game oriented atmosphere in our Tiny Tykes and Start Smart Golf Level 1 and Level 2 classes. Adults just starting to play can take our new winter Beginners Class. LPGA & PGA professionals will teach fundamentals of the game to prepare you for the spring golf season. |

| Treehouse & Parent Tot Drop In When it's too cold to play outside, head to Jewett Park Community Center for one of our Drop In programs! At the Treehouse, enjoy the eight foot tube slide, mountain climb, spring walk, and web crawl, not to mention other intriguing attractions to stimulate young imaginations. At Parent Tot Drop In Interact with other parents and childcare providers, while your child plays with other children. A great way to form lasting friendships. Our awesome classroom has a play kitchen, climbing toys, puzzles and games. Simple craft items will be available for you to enjoy with your child. | After School Club The Deerfield Park District After School Club is for boys and girls from kindergarten - fifth grade at Kipling, Walden, Wilmot and South Park schools. It offers your child the chance to enjoy the friendship of other children while you are working. You can rest easy knowing your child is having fun in a safe environment under the supervision of experienced staff. After School Club begins on the first full day of school and ends on the last full day of school, with choices of 2-days to 5-days per week. Drop-In for Open Gym, Swim and Play GYM & SWIM: Fitness center members may use the gym and pool during all scheduled times at no additional cost. Non-members may also participate by paying a daily use fee during designated hours. All open gym participants must check in at the front reception desk prior to entering open gym. Open gym for non-members is $5 per visit, or purchase a 10 Punch Card for Open Gym/Swim/Track for $45. PICKLEBALL: Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM. Play is $6 per day. You may also purchase a convenient 10 Visit Pass for $60. All Equipment provided. Activity takes place on Gym A and Gym B. VOLLEYBALL: Join fellow volleyball enthusiasts for adult open volleyball on Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00 PM on Gym B. Cost is $5.00 per visit and free to members. Nutritional Counseling & Health Coaching Nutritional Counseling: During a 60-minute initial consultation, work with registered dietitian Kim Blum, MS, RD, LD to outline your objectives for living a healthier lifestyle. Start by developing small and reasonable goals that can work within your current routine and lifestyle. Clients will leave this initial consultation with specific a plan of action for achieving success. Group Sessions are also available. 60-minute session are $79 and a pack of 3 sessions is $229. Health Coaching: Get yourself on the right track towards a healthier lifestyle with ACE Certified Health Coach, Jennifer Michalik. She will assist you in combining behavior modifications, implementing physical activity and making the necessary nutritional changes in order to empower you to live a long term healthy lifestyle.
