Editor's Notes Big news out of Bessemer today: Workers at an Amazon facility in the Alabama city voted no on forming a labor union. The drive to unionize drew national attention, and the result will surely shape organized labor as it seeks a foothold among tech companies that have been resistant to unions. It leads to the question: Could unions form among local tech and creative workers? Last year, our sister site in DC published a piece that detailed conditions like fair pay and "crunch" time that could spark workers to seek more protections. Have you seen any moves toward organizing among tech and creative professionals in the Baltimore region?
