If you've ever seen the movie Pumping Iron... You probably remember the part where Arnold famously said: "The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. The area of PAIN is what divides the champions from someone else." And he makes a good point. In fact... The MOST important business lesson I've ever learned didn't come from a mastermind, or a course, or even a coach... ...It came from the gym. When I was 16 years old and first started "pumping iron" myself to transform my lanky farm boy frame into a GQ-worthy physique. I learned that... Persistence THROUGH pain is the only factor that separates the winners from the losers. Every day I see so many business owners and entrepreneurs throwing in the towel and quitting the second things get hard... After 2 months running ads at a negative ROI... ...They quit and claim that "Facebook doesn't work". If their first social selling IG story or blunt post doesn't bring in $10k... ...They quit marketing on IG entirely because "It isn't right for my industry". In many cases... Newbie entrepreneurs will quit within just 6 months of starting their business. Never realizing that the BEST entrepreneurs in the world--almost without exception--faced dozens of devastating failures before they "made it". My buddy Bedros lost $50k (that he didn't have) on his first business. I spent 18 months throwing stuff at the wall before my first business succeed. My friend Sharran lost millions of dollars because of the deal structure in his first startup. Thing is... If you want to succeed... if you want to build an empire... if you want to create LEGACY wealth to pass onto your family for generations after you're dead and gone... The ONLY way to get there is to persist through the pain. Because like I always say... "Success is simple, once you accept how hard it is." It isn't rocket science... It's simply being willing to show up day in and day out no matter how tough things get... To persist through failure after failure after failure with no loss in enthusiasm... It's not glamorous. It's not sexy. But it's the truth. So now matter how hard things are today... No matter how hard you've been hit by the chaos of 2020... KEEP PUSHING FORWARD. Because at the end of the day... That's how you get to the promised land. To Your Success, Craig |
