This Month’s Happy HourFinding Inspiration’s Source
Get ready for another happy hour! Register here for the next live subscriber call. Last month, I did a live presentation + Q&A with a handful of paid subscribers (just released the replay for subs here). It was fun, we sipped on some beverages, and chatted about creative work. My intention is to do at least one of these every month, usually the last day of the month at 5:00 p.m. Central. It’s a sort of community “happy hour” wherein I share something rolling around in my mind, then answer any questions or challenges you might be facing in writing and life. This month, I’ve decided to make the call accessible to everyone. For those who aren’t paid subs, you can get a glimpse in to some of the perks of paid membership; and for those who are, well, you can orient the rest of the folks. As I’ve shared before, I am still figuring out what this thing is and appreciate the early support you all have shown me—with your responses, subscriptions, and encouragement. This is my attempt to give something back and demonstrate my thanks. So, here’s how it’s gonna go: This Tuesday, I’ll be doing a live Q&A and presentation starting at 5:00 p.m. We’ll do a little house cleaning, hear from some of you, then I’ll share my teaching for the month. I’ll talk for twenty to thirty minutes, then take questions, and we’ll wrap up no later than 6:30 p.m. This is a Zoom webinar, so you’ll need to register ahead of time and make sure you check your email for reminders and such. There are no pitches, no pressure to buy anything, just a chance to connect with other writers and creators in the trenches. Feel free to bring a drink and settle in. I’ll hit “record” on this, but the recording will only be available to paid subscribers. If you want to get access to it, you’ll need to change your subscription to the monthly / yearly paid model. Our theme is “Where Inspiration Comes from.” I’ll be sharing a few readings from my shelf, along with some thoughts and stories—and maybe a few surprises. If there’s anything you want me to address, any burning questions you have especially on the subject of creativity and inspiration, feel free to send me an email or leave a comment on this post. Don’t forget to register by clicking here. See you soon! You're currently a free subscriber to The Ghost. For the full experience, upgrade your subscription.
