| I want to revisit this story from the other day because in hindsight, I probably shouldn't have glossed over it. ZDNet reported that the the SolarWinds disaster might have been caused by an intern who set an important password to "solarwinds123." That person also shared the password on GitHub. Yikes. It would be easy to pile on and make this intern the punchline to a lot of jokes. And sure, this is probably not going to be something that appears on their LinkedIn profile anytime soon. But we've all made mistakes, right? Maybe not the type of mistakes that led to one of the biggest security breaches in history, but still. Brave enough to share your biggest mistakes as an IT pro? Leave 'em here in this SaaSOps Community thread. |

What's unclear is why this is happening, although it's entirely possible that this change won't make it into the shipping product. It could simply be that Apple is building the system into macOS in case it has to shut down Rosetta in certain regions. |
