NATIONAL: Global partnership and marketing firm CSM Sport & Entertainment has launched a new social impact consulting practice in North America. The goal is to help brands identify ways to deliver a meaningful social and business impact. Adrienne Ankola-Rochetti has been named vice president of social impact, reporting to Peter Honig, president of the company’s North American Consulting business.

BOSTON: Design Museum Everywhere will host its first-ever virtual Workplace Innovation Summit Dec. 7-11. The summit will feature top names in design, business, and research for five days of discussions about cultivating a more equitable and healthy workplace. It will feature keynote speeches, networking, and interactive sessions.

LOS ANGELES: Event industry veterans Ben Biscotti, Tony Schubert, and Bobby Rossi—the team behind Halloween event Nights of the Jack—will open a drive-thru holiday show Dec. 4 to Jan. 10. Holiday Road, held on King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas, will be a contactless, family-friendly event with thousands of holiday lights and installations. Tickets cost $75 per vehicle.

NEW YORK: Trudy Singh, NYC & Company’s regional vice president of sales, Mid-Atlantic, has been named the 2020 Charles H. Wright Supplier of the Year by the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals. Singh was recognized by the coalition's board of directors during The Evening of Empowerment virtual event on Nov. 20.

ORLANDO: Insomniac Events plans to host its flagship East Coast Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival Orlando, Nov. 12-14, 2021. Presale begins Nov. 27 at noon ET. In 2019, EDC Orlando expanded to over 40 acres and four stages.
