| | A negative at-home rapid antigen test for COVID-19 doesn’t necessary mean you don’t have COVID-19 Experts from Westminster College and the University of Utah in Salt Lake City say you should test again in a day or so to be sure because the test may. have been taken too soon after becoming infected. “That’s why these tests come in two. That’s not to test two times in the next month. It is really for a single test," said Han Kim, a professor of public health at Westminster College in Salt Lake City. Dr. Emily Spivak, an infectious diseases physician with University of Utah Health, said that rapid tests are more effective in people with symptoms, but may still yield a false negative result within the first 72 hours or so of signs of the virus showing up. She urged everyone to read the directions that come with the home kit, and watch for faulty tests. |

| It was conservative versus liberals in the Supreme Court’s final three religion-related rulings of the term. Here’s a look at the Supreme Court’s latest faith-related rulings and what they tell us about church-state conflict still to come: Carson v. Makin: The Supreme Court ruled that a Maine law preventing students at sectarian schools from participating in a tuition assistance program violated the First Amendment’s free exercise clause. The decision made it more difficult for states to keep public education money away from private religious schools, though experts say it likely won’t be the last we hear from the Supreme Court on the rights of religious schools. Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization: The Supreme Court voted to overturn Roe v. Wade and return control of abortion access to individual states, and although the case didn’t involve a religious freedom claim, faith groups agreed that it was morally — and religiously — significant. However, some statements from abortion rights supporters highlighted the opportunity to use religious freedom law to push back against abortion restrictions. Kennedy v. Bremerton: The Supreme Court ruled that a football coach at a public high school can pray at the 50-yard line after games. A variety of organizations, however, have predicted that the majority opinion would lead to more religion-related conflict in classrooms across the country.
