Fearless Fall Classes & Workshops

Fearless Watercolor

Instructor: Janice Castiglione

Watercolor is known for being the most difficult medium to paint with. This class is designed to push through our fears and find joy in exploring the aspects of what this paint can do. Research how colors can flow together and mix on the paper, create soft edges or hard sharp edges. Let's let the pressure go and concentrate on finding joy in creating. No expectations or pressure. Each class will begin with a demo.

Thursdays, September 8 -

October 13, 1pm-4pm

CAM member: $232;

Not-yet-member: $290

Yes You Can!

Knitting Your Way

Fearless Color!

Instructor: Carolyn Faulkner

Do you love bright bold colors? Do you love soft muted colors? If so, this class is for you! Learn how to create a harmonious color palette and a contrasting color palette. Decide if you want a painting filled with harmony or a painting using bold contrasts. Learn to work with complimentary colors next to one another and analogous colors used together in the same composition. Your painting can be a garden scene or objects of your choice. I will bring in photos but you can choose from your own as well. Contrast will give your artwork drama and opposition. Harmonious colors are similar. They flow, they are close in hue! Are you the person that wants to blend and get along or are you the rebel that wants to be different? Let your personality explode on your canvas!

Wednesdays, September 7 - 28, 10am - 12pm

CAM member: $116;
