Cats can be incredible company, just ask BuzzFeed reporter Alex Kantrowitz:
"While writing Always Day One, my just-released book about the tech giants' inner workings, I spent long stretches alone in Seattle reporting on Amazon and Microsoft. While there, my main companion was Lady, a lovely cat who I watched while her owners went on vacation. Lady was a great friend, loved to spend time scratching herself on my laptop and standing on my notes, and she taught me that a pet companion can help dull the pain of isolation. I hope you check out the book (Lady is in the acknowledgments), and here's to the cats!"
Here's a pic of Alex and Lady taking a break from writing: Ever think your cat is super smart and nimble? Check out this video of how the CIA tried to use cats as spies. I'm not kidding, this is actually a true story!
Also, if you want to laugh, here are some cats who are so cute, but so dumb. I bet the CIA had these cats in mind when they wanted to make them spies. Lastly: does your cat ever walk across your keyboard? Pop in the background of your meetings? With so many people working from home, check out these pets who can't grasp the concept of personal space. The audacity! Stay tuned next week to see what could possibly happen next in Cat Country!
