Greens should realize though that more highly dependable nuclear power is even more essential. As the densest energy source available, nuclear fuel requires the least amount of material and land for electricity production. Large industrial users and utilities have lobbyists to represent their interests, while Indiana ratepayers only have the Indiana Legislature. Low-cost energy is the heart of U.S. economic growth, and, yes, our goals for racial justice. Our politicians should realize that if they really want to help poor Americans, they should start by helping them get a better job and make more money.
