Energy Realism looked for real energy solutions last week. Being realistic is our best path forward.

Emily Arthun got us started last week: power demand is set to soar in this country, so blocking fossil fuels is clearly foolish. Any supposed advantage in costs claimed by the renewables industry and their supporters quickly, flies out the window in the face of reality. Frankly, the policy decisions in the Biden White House are detrimental to the wellbeing of the U.S. citizens and economy. Shay Hawkins looks at how EV mandates, for instance, hurt minorities the most. While mandate proponents tout supposed environmental benefits, a closer look reveals economic burdens, restrictions on consumer choice, and potential setbacks for policies designed to benefit disadvantaged areas. Amanda Eversole gives us five real energy questions for both Biden and Trump that should have been asked at the debate. America’s energy future is at a crossroads. Our nation’s energy security and the economic security of millions of Americans is uncertain as punishing inflation and geopolitical threats continue to rise.
