Throwback Thursday with AAS! AAS 2014 marked the event’s first project presentation from Australia’s Like A Photon Creative, which pitched a charming preschool series concept for Balloon Barnyard that made a major impression on the audience with its heart and passion. The show was produced and sold to broadcasters in 12 territories, and at home, it consistently attracted the second-highest viewership on Disney Junior Australia over the course of its run on the channel. Like A Photon then capitalized on the IP’s popularity with the 2018 release of Balloon Barnyard Books, a literacy app for kids ages two to seven. Want to be among the first to discover this year’s best new animation concepts developing in Asia-Pacific? Registration for AAS 2020 is now open, and a $200 Early-Bird discount is in effect until Friday, August 28. In light of the continued uncertainty around the coronavirus pandemic, Kidscreen has adjusted its cancellation policy for AAS so that if it’s not possible to produce a live event because of COVID-19, all registration fees will be fully refunded. |
