Hi folks, what's the craic?

This week has been all about some pretty big events in Dubai.

The city has become one of the world's sporting capitals this week with a major cricket tournament, top tennis pros and two big cycling races all descending on the emirate.

India's cricket stars are set to take on their old rivals Pakistan in Dubai today. Tickets sold-out super-fast but fans can still watch the big game at a special Barasti party and at many bars (and even cinemas) across the city.

Also, if you're heading out today then traffic is going to be disrupted not just by the cricket festivities but also by the return of the Spinneys Dubai 92 race. It's the second time in three days that a cycling event has led to major road closures. Stay safe out there.

Switching gears (yes, that is a forced cycling pun), we've also had three big gigs announced in the city catering to every vibe. You've got a choice between P-pop idol group BINI, Norwegian DJ Kygo and English icon David Gray. Which one takes your fancy?

You stay classy Dubai,

Findlay
