I wanted to share this with you because I believe it is relevant to your profession, and can give you new insight on these subjects.

"The most significant driver of long-term care facilities’ current reimbursement model (RUG-IV) is the amount of therapy days and minutes provided to a Medicare resident. With the consideration of a replacement for this model well underway, however, significant change is on the horizon."

Under the new proposed reimbursement model (scheduled to begin in FY2019), the resident classification system (RCS-1) will translate resident characteristics into a reimbursement system.

This shift has left providers everywhere with many questions including how RCS-1 will affect resident care, the amount of therapy that will be reimbursed, and the expected drivers for this reimbursement.

Download our free whitepaper,
RCS-1: Understanding what will drive reimbursement and how to prepare, which reviews advantages and disadvantages of the new reimbursement model that providers should be aware of. You will also learn about the detailed differences between RUG-IV and RCS-1 along with steps you can take now to prepare.

I believe education is the key to success in this fast changing industry, which is why I wanted to let you know that we have prepared a boot camp that discusses these issues and can offer you some incredible knowledge!
