I know this year has been crazy... And with everything going on politically, economically, and socially... ...It seems like it's getting crazy every day. But instead of allowing the craziness and uncertainty of this year to cause to collapse like a house of cards... ...I challenge you to use the craziness to grow stronger. And the good news is... you're already strong. You've already overcome hundreds if not thousands of obstacles in your life. Whether it was saving a rocky marriage... Building a business in a competitive niche... Or even getting back in shape after "letting yourself go"... The challenges you've overcome in the past are evidence that you have what it takes to get through anything this year (or the next one) throw at you. And right now, the key thing to remember if you want to grow your business in 2020... Is to avoid turning every business "molehill" into a "mountain". Listen... I know that stress, anxiety, and uncertainty are at an all time high for pretty much everyone. Which makes it easy to over-react to every fire that springs up and every setback you encounter. But you're better than that. And your business, your team, and your family are depending on you... To keep a level head and stay resilient, resourcefull, and relentless despite these challenges. So whatever challenges you're facing right now. Here are three key things to remember... 1. None of My Failures Killed Me (And Neither Will Yours) In 2009... I wasted $35,000 on the dumb idea of franchising my Turbulence Training business. Even though the idea made no sense, I got suckered into a contract with a franchise lawyer that cost me close to $9k/month. And each morning I'd wake up feeling bitter, angry, and frustrated... ...Often taking my "stuff" out on my poor buddy Bally the Dog. Which was when I knew it was time to quit and walk away before I lost even more money (or my sanity). A few years later... I managed to turn my $5 million a year business into a $1 million/year business (nope, that wasn't a typo). And I had to lay off five amazing, talented, and hardworking team members in one day... ...Even though their only "mistake" was working for a knuckle head named Craig. These challenges were all painful... And at the time they felt like the end of the world. But they weren't. They only made me stronger, smarter, and better. I learned valuable lessons... Developed my leadership and decision making skills... Built relationships with mentors... And today... Those same lessons and relationships are exactly why my team and I are having record months during one of the worst economies in history. Never forget that today's trials lead to tomorrow's triumphs. 2. My Problems Are NOTHING (And Neither Are Yours) For every business set back I've had... Titans like Elon Musk have suffered problems 1,000X worst. And still bounced back stronger. Back in 2008, Musk was on the verge of bankruptcy after sinking $110 MILLION into his failing businesses (SolarCity, SpaceX, and Tesla). But he persisted despite the challenges... ...And the rest is history. Remember... One bad day, week, month, even a bad year is not the end of the world. If you'll learn from your mistakes, get outside help, and persist no matter what... ...You'll always find a way to succeed. 3. Be Grateful for the Problems You Have Seriously... No matter how hard or painful or frustrating your problems are right now... ...You're still winning compared to billions of people. You're reading this email from a device that costs more than some people will earn in their entire lifetime. You have clean running water (a luxury 99.99% of all humans never had). You have access to all of the information, systems, and tools you need to succeed with the click of a button. You have food on the table, a roof over your head, and people who love you. You. Are. Winning. Whether you're running a 7-figure business or struggling to pay rent... ...You still have it better than so many others. So focus on what's going right in your life. Because I can promise you... No matter how big or bad your problems seem. ...You are lucky to have those problems. To Your Success, Craig |
