Fall is a popular time for human families to have portraits taken, and apparently bear families are no different. This shot by Photo Club member Simon Ager is totally frame-worthy in our opinion, and we’re sure the bears would feel the same. Ager captured this once-in-a-lifetime scene on an expedition cruise in B.C. with Can Geo travel partner Maple Leaf Adventures. It could be you behind the lens next time; scroll down to find out how!

Photos of the Week for the month of October

Other photos we featured in the month of October included a beautiful bull caribou at rest in western Newfoundland (by Victor Pavlicic), the peak of the fall colours in Parc National de Mont-Tremblant, Que. (by Nunzio Guerrera), and a leggy young moose snapped from Christine Andrews’ kayak on Moot Lake, Ont.

We choose a new photo every Monday to be our banner image on Facebook and Twitter, plus we share the picture on Instagram too!
