Throughout History, Women Have Chosen Jesus

Junia, the female apostle, was imprisoned for the gospel.

Gracia Tama Hosokawa, a 16th-century Japanese convert to Christianity, risked her life by translating Christian texts so her neighbors could understand the gospel.

Beth Moore, modern-day Bible teacher and author, has been maligned and mocked by those she calls brothers and sisters.

Through it all, these women, and many more female saints throughout the centuries, have chosen to cling to Jesus. As Women’s History Month draws to a close, we invite you to read a story or two of such sisters whose lives encourage us to remain steadfast in all seasons.
