Alorica expanding in Charleston County

Customer relationship management company Alorica plans to expand its Charleston County operations with a $1.2 million investment that’s expected to create 300 new jobs. The expansion is slated to be completed by the end of 2020.

The five recipients of the $5,000 grants, awarded through the Agribusiness Center for Research and Entrepreneurship initiative, include Wando River Farm, an Awendaw company that runs a community-supported agriculture program and provides produce to several restaurants.
