Cyber research project to be hosted in Charleston, Savannah

West Point’s cyber institute and a Washington, D.C.-based consultant will hold the third edition of the Jack Voltaic Cyber Research Project in Charleston and Savannah. The exercise brings together public and private-sector partners to examine cyberattacks.

COG takes on governance of TriCounty Link

The Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments board of directors has assumed governance of TriCounty Link, the region’s rural public transportation service. TriCounty Link had previously been governed by its own board of directors.

State launches mobile irrigation laboratory pilot project

Selected farmers can have their irrigation systems audited for water and energy use in the three-year pilot Mobile Irrigation Laboratory project. The project will help determine if a permanent, free program can be offered to S.C. farmers.
