Silver Airways to relaunch service in Charleston

Silver Airways is returning service to Charleston in May, offering nonstop flights to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa, Fla. Charleston will be the only South Carolina city served by Silver Airways when service launches. The airline previously served Charleston International Airport with flights between South Carolina and Orlando and Tampa, Fla.

Salt Life to open 1st S.C. retail store next month

Salt Life will open its first South Carolina retail store on March 2 in Charleston. The lifestyle brand is known for its swimwear, hats and performance clothing.

MUSC opens children’s hospital and women’s center

The hospital and women's center, open after years of planning and two delays, includes a 20% increase in capacity. All current patients were transported to the new, 625,000 square-foot location Saturday.
