Charleston sues 24 ‘Big Oil’ companies over climate change

Mayor John Tecklenburg and city officials have filed a lawsuit against two dozen fossil fuel companies for costs the city and taxpayers have incurred to survive climate change. The suit seeks compensatory damages, abatement of the nuisances, attorneys fees, punitive damages and several other measures of relief.

Tech firm bringing $200 million data center to Greenville

Southeastern tech company DC Blox will build a Tier III data center, its fifth across four states, in Greenville's Global Business Park with an expected investment of more than $200 million. Doors are set to open at the center’s 6-acre campus in the third quarter of 2021.
