Charleston, LDC awarded $935,000 for small business loans

For the week ending Sept. 26, 5,132 initial unemployment claims were filed in South Carolina, bringing the total since March 15 to 749,708. Charleston County saw 361 new claims filed.

Thousands of airline employees furloughed
