| Judge’s ruling likely halts seismic testing for years A lawsuit filed in 2018 opposing seismic air gun surveys off the S.C. coast as a precursor to oil and drilling exploration was dismissed by a federal judge who said a deadline for permits would pass before a trial would be held.
